WSOTM volume 8

00. BLIB BLIB MINIMIZED END
by Holland Electric. I started recording this track on one of those days I re-realized how great these
dudes from Kraftwerk were. But after a while I had to plug my guitar in. Sorry.

01. SCATMENNO
by Mono. This is an outtake from their NOCANDANCE sessions. Some of it appeared somewhere on
the album. Some did not. Menno on vocals (of course). Everybody should check this band out.
They are awesome!

02. BB OP CAMERETTEN
by Bart & Max from Mono (alias Bubbelebim). In a dream. Staged at one of the biggest comedy
festivals in the Netherlands. Big laughs. Huge success. Just a dream. Only a dream.
Big laughs… still

03. SILENT FIELDS
by Switch o’five. Saved from my ol’ mighty shoebox of commerical suicide tapes. I have always
liked this song. Reworked it a bit though… It had to be done. I had to do it! Rewriting history is fun.
U should try it sometime.

04. SUBLIME!
by Holland Electric. Extensive rework of an French 7inch from the sixties.
A happy song to sing and dance to.

05. WANT
by Poubelle. And listen! The old shoebox reveiled some more. This is from a demo tape by the first
band of Vinnie Foewakka of the Vogels. Recorded and mixed by Argus Flexeur d’Electrique.

06. KILL YOUR COMRADES, BOY!
by Surgical Cripple. This was one of my early noise outfits. Still sounds good don’t you think? Definitely
more to come from this early Commercial Suicide release.

07. HUMOBIZA 2005 (REVEREND OUTTAKE)
by De Humobisten and MP3J Der Versucher. This track was recorded as a part of a Humobisten
performance at Holodeck. You can read, see, and hear everything about it when you click here.
The vocals were recorded at my house. Stop joking, I made them sound crappy on purpose using
expensive Cubase plugins 😉

08. CARTHESIAN ORCHID PARTX
by Emily Stabb. This was an outtake from a late session which was meant to result in a second
demo tape. Unfortunately, I have never finished it and got bored with the project, Some pieces
are still quite interesting though. Check this one for example.

09. THPLLS
by Holland Electric. Hidde van Schie noticed that sometimes his music and mine sort of coincide
and that we should record something together. I figure this brilliant idea was born when he heard
this track. It was a part from the soundtrack of ‘Brainstorm’. A short movie by Janneke Baken from
The Riplets featuring Janneke and the Dutch Writer and LSD Prophet Simon Vinkenoog.

10. HAMMER IT IN HERE TO A BIG BLACK FEAR
by Emily Stabb. This is a cutup version of the second (out of three) concerts ever performed by
Emily Stabb. This one was recorded by Cherry (ik sta alleen maar een blowtje te draaien) of
De Baroeg in Rotterdam during a theme night called ‘Dark Days of the Middle Ages’.
Featuting Argus Flexeur d’electrique on bass, tapes and drummachine. Dorien on vocals,
knives and teddybears, Suzy on violin and vocals, and me on keys, guitar, and tapes.
We opened for Deine Lakaien. We scared the hell out of the goths. Noone understood the
Zorro 8mm film loop. Big laughs afterwards listening to this bizarre tape.

11. FORTY-FIVE AND FOUR EYE
by J.S. Rozendaal. A more abstract piece to end this jam. See u next month!!
